The development of industrial, commercial or public service activities, of private initiative, in the port public domain, takes place by means of the granting of authorizations or concessions, as it is regulated by law.

Activities subject to authorization:

The utilization of fixed port facilities by ships, passengers and goods,  which will be regulated by the regulations of port exploitation and administration and by port ordinances.

The occupation of port public domain with movable otems or removable installations, or without them, for a maximum term of three years.

Activities subject to concession:

The occupation of port public domain, with works or non removable installations, or for more than three years.

Authorizations and concessions may only be granted for works, installations or uses that complies the specifications of the port spaces and uses demarcation.
